why the name mainstay?

The Mainstay brand

Mainstay started as a promise: to be the most dependable partner in your corner. The one who helps you stay upright when things shift.

But there’s more to it than that.

In sailing, the mainstay is the line that holds the mast in place. It keeps the structure balanced. Without it, the entire system fails. That’s how we think about messaging. Not as decoration, but as a support line that holds strategy, operations, and communication together.
